In 2010 I began a new series of paintings depicting the sex shops, strip clubs and lap dance clubs of Soho. As with my seaside paintings, I was inspired by the colourful signage and the neon lights. I also love the mystery and mood of these places and trying to capture the fear one feels about going inside and not knowing what waits behind the door...
